Sunshine couple have bright future ahead

Sam Ly and Fionn Wiens have been crowned as the 2011 Sunshine Nation boy and girl

Sam Ly and Fionn Wiens have been crowned as the 2011 Sunshine Nation boy and girl champions respectively.
Ly is a bright-eyes-big-smile 24-year-old young man from Vancouver and Wiens a 17 years old girl from the city of Langley.
Sunshine Nation, a pageant / talent search organized by Fairchild Radio, was held on August 26 in front of a full house of audience at the Michael J. Fox Theatre.
Winners of Sunshine Nation will be given casting considerations by a drama production company in Taiwan.
Past winners who have traveled fast to stardom include Shawn Dou (2007 Champion).
Shawn was handpicked by the famous Chinese director Zhang Yi-mou to be the male lead actor in the 2010 movie “Under the Hawthorn Tree”.
