Young graduate opens Christian daycare

Rachel Song is the owner and operator of her own child-care business

When Rachel Song came to Canada she had a 2-year old son, and a 3-month old daughter and five years of work experience as a Microsoft Network administrator.
Fast forward a couple of years and today she is the owner of her own child-care business after graduating from Sprott-Shaw College’s Early Childhood Education program.
At Sprott-Shaw Rachel learned about circle time, guiding & caring, safety and how to develop a variety of programs for children, as well as on how to manage finances. Though Rachel received job offers from four different places where she did practicums, she chose to open her own business, Bethel Christian Child Care.
Bethel Christian Child Care is located at 1692 Dansey Avenue, Coquitlam.
