Lollipop girls make sweet music

Lower Mainland based tweener group looking to add new members

They are BC’s version of a tweener’s all girls band.
Aged from 7 to 11, the Lollipop Girls are cute, playful and fun and not to mention successful – the group is currently sponsored by VIA Rail and a number of restaurants. They are also moving into the world of television with a pilot near completion.
At the moment the group is looking to expand and so will be holding auditions in Vancouver during the first two Saturdays in January at the Scotia Dance Centre.
Girls must be between the ages of 7 and 11 years old and must have dance and/or dancing ability from prior training.
The group rehearses intensively with one 4 hour session every Saturday 10 to 2PM.
The band is limited to 8 members of which 5 is the maximum on stage with 3 backups while on tour.
All girls must prove better than average school grades during their stay in the band. At least one parent must accompany each girl while on tour.
