Final excerpt from a 3 part series chronicling Ric’s visit to the Ukranian capital!

This is my fourth and final post from “The Sidewalks of Kiev”.  So much of what we wear is influenced by what’s available locally.  As a result, it’s easy to spot the latest arrivals on the sidewalk.  While the Internet is changing that somewhat it is still a challenge to find unique pieces and outfits.  For example, I would have never imagined heels could be safely worn in snow and slush until I saw a pair of pumps with tractor soles!  The flat brimmed hats look chic while reflecting the traditional Carpathian style of Ukrainian clothing.  Shapelie’s Hats are sold at BCI CBOI for $85 CDN ($1,620 UAH).  I hope you’ve enjoyed a glimpse of Ukrainian fashion!
