US rhino finds a new home at the Night Safari in Singapore
Mary, a 19-year-old female rhino from Oklahoma City Zoo, arrived in Singapore last week, the latest addition to the Night Safari. The Indian rhino was flown in via Singapore Airlines Cargo accompanied by a veterinarian and a keeper. According to the World Conservation Union Red List, the Indian rhino is “vulnerable” meaning it is facing a high risk of extinction in the wild. Mary will be placed in quarantine for one month before she goes on exhibit.
