Surrey presents movies under the stars

Saturday, August 6th marks the official kick off of Movies Under the Stars at Holland Park

A warm summer breeze carries the smell of warm popcorn through the air…. yes, it’s that time of the year again.
Saturday, August 6th marks the official kick off of Downtown Surrey Business Improvement Association’s Movies Under the Stars.
This year, four different family-friendly films will be screened at Holland Park. These include Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2, Ramona and Beezus, Tangled and Justin Bieber’s Never Say Never on August 13th, 20th, and 27th respectively.
Movie starts at dusk, but come early for our pre-show festivities beginning at 4:30pm. Get your face painted and try your hand at various crafts.
Local entertainers will be performing from 5pm until the movie begins.
The North Surrey Lions Club will be running a great big BBQ and there will be a concession stand with drinks and popcorn.
