Artist Profile: Yumi Nagashima
Yumi Nagashima has appeared in a variety of local television series
Yumi Nagashima was born in Japan – she moved to Vancouver about 5 years ago.
Since a very young age, Yumi dreamed of being an actress.
Although her first job in Vancouver was teaching Japanese, she did not give up her dream and began attending acting school.
After being scouted by a local agency, she earned a role in a number of TV serials including Falling Skies, Motive, Package Deal as well as the movie Godzilla (2014).
She also appeared in several TV commercial, both in Japan and locally (Telus).
Yumi’s next project will be a play called “Don’t forget your pants” at Havana Theatre from July 17 to 27, 2013.
