Sidewalk Runway: Taiwanfest

While I don’t speak the language I’m a huge Jolin Tsai fan. So, when I heard fellow countrywoman Rachel Liang would be performing at Taiwanfest I made a point to attend. It was my first time hearing Miss Liang’s music. While Jolin’s songs are mainly upbeat and danceable, Miss Liang’s songs were slow ballads. The audience sang the words with her and swayed in time with each song. Miss Liang was quite funny and had the crowd laughing between each song. She has a beautiful voice and her concert was a nice way to spend my Sunday evening.
