Diwalifest 2013 comes to Vancouver

Art, culture, fashion and celebration marks festival of lights

Diwalifest 2013 is a ten day festival based in across the Lower Mainland that celebrates Diwali – the South Asian festival of lights.
Now in its 10th year, Diwalifest (formerly Vancouver Celebrates Diwali) attracts  over 15,000 people each year to celebrate the universal light that exists in everyone.
Each year’s festival engages dozens of artists in events across the city, the majority of which are open and free to the general public, by suggested donation, or at very affordable ticketed prices.
Diwalifest 2013 will feature the best of contemporary and classical Indian culture, cultural workshops, cooking classes, a fashion showcase, and much more.
