Miss Chinese Vancouver to be crowned
Ten finalists will compete for the Miss Chinese Vancouver pageant on December 9th
Ten contestants will compete for the title of Miss Chinese Vancouver in the final pageant Dec. 9 at at the Vancouver Convention Centre. Proceeds of this event go towards the BC Women’s Hospital Foundation to buy a new ultrasound in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit. The contestants made their first public appearance November 5. Gerald Yang and Leonard Cheng were the MCs. The contestants include: 1. Bridge Tse, a dental hygienist and a pole dancer 2. Lettitia Lai, kickboxes and speaks five languages 3. Cathy Tse, a brilliant pianist 4. Margarita Chun, one of the top 10 outstanding young artists in Hong Kong 5. Ada Shang, an exchange student to Hong Kong 6. Jennifer Coosemans has a mix of Chinese and Belgian heritage 7. Louise Dong, only 19 years old, but she manages a business online 8. Cindy Tong finally made it to the final this year 9. Karen Ku, a descendant of the Manchu Emperors Aisin Gioro 10.
