An Ontario man has approached the Mayor Rob Ford of Toronto in the hopes of having Brother-Sister Day proclaimed in the city.
Daniel Masih has created the campaign based on extending the South Asian cultural practice of Rakhsha Bandhan to a wider Canadian audience.
